An interrogator at Civil Servants Prosecutor General's office has passed a verdict of guilty for the managing director of Persian daily "Iran" Abdol-Rasoul Vesal, referring his case to Tehran bench of deputy prosecutor general's office to issue bill of indictment, IRNA reported from Tehran.
An informed source at daily Iran said the case will be referred to Tehran's criminal court once the head of civil servants' prosecutor general's office and deputy head of Tehran's prosecutor general office prove the press offenses committed by Vesal.
Tehran criminal court comprises of three judges and a number of jury board members, that is charged with dealing with such offense as spread of rumors, brought up against Vesal in the case.
The plaintiff in the case is director of a tourist service agency, who is now jailed for diverting one billion rials worth fund of about 80 people. The convict has filed a complaint at Bench six of Civil Servants' Prosecutors' Office for publication of related report by daily Iran.
