An Iranian passenger plane which was forced to make a special landing at Bombay on its way from Tehran to Kuala Lumpur was still undergoing repair in Bombay's International Airport on Saturday, IRNA reported.
Subhash Ahuja, an airport supervisor, Saturday morning told IRNA that the passengers of the Iranian plane are all right and were stationed in a hotel.
He also said that Iran Air Flight No. 840 was on its way from Tehran to Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. (local time) when it developed a technical problem and had to make an emergency landing.
Ahuja also said that the engineers of the airport are trying to rectify the technical fault after which the plane will fly back to Tehran.
He said the passengers of the plane will be flown to their destination by a special plane any moment from now.
