Journey's Motto: In the name of love, friendship and global peace
Iranian woman cyclist, Poupeh Mahdavinader, who is cycling around the world (see full story: Iranian woman Poupeh Mahdavinader to travel around the world by bike) will arrive in New York on August 20. After biking in Italy, France and England, Poupeh is now biking in US. She arrived in Boston on July 30th.
Poupeh will be biking from New Haven, Connecticut to New York today. Following are the plans after her arrival in New York:
She will be in front of the UN building from 4pm to 6pm
She will be at Persepolis Restaurant from 6:30pm till 9:30pm

Poupeh's Main Goals
- Gathering support and raising funds for orphaned children and the needy.
- Communicating with the women, girls and youth in the countries to be visited and bringing their message to the women, girls and youth in Iran.
- Observing the manifestations of God in nature.
