Iran took the sixth title in 2003 FIVB Men`s Under-21 Volleyball Championship as it lost to Russia in the 12,000-seater hall of Azadi Sports Complex, western Tehran, Sunday, IRNA reported.

The determined Russian handed Iran a 3-0 rout in front of home fans, standing fifth. Russia won 25-20, 25-19, 25-19.

Earlier, Serbia and Montenegro stood seventh. Serbia trounced Germany in three straight games 25-16, 25-22, 25-21. Germany finished eighth.

The fight for the third title between Bulgaria and South Korea kicks off at 03:00 pm and Brazil-Poland final starts at 05:00 pm Sunday.
