HIV-AIDS, an affiliated-UN working group based in Iran, is scheduled to hold a concert on Wednesday December 3 in Tehran to support AIDS patients, IRNA reported.
The concert will be carried out by Rumi musical group and with cooperation of Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education and Red Crescent Society at 18:30 p.m in Tehran's Central Heart Hospital, the Information Department of the HIV-AIDS group reported on Monday.
The income of the concert would be spent to treat the victims of HIV virus through non-governmental organizations (NGO) which are active in this field, according to the report.
The United Nations coordinator in Iran Frederick Lions, head of Iran's Red Crescent Society Dr. Noorbala, and Minoo Mohraz are to address the audience on HIV at the end of the concert.
