National Iranian Continental Shelf Oil Company exported over 148 million barrels of crude oil over a period of seven months starting on March 21, IRNA reported from Tehran on Tuesday.
National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in a statement stressed that the company's production of crude oil over a period of one month from September 23, 2003 stood at over 21 million barrels.
The NIOC added that the production included such Persian Gulf oil regions of Kharg at 10 million barrels, Lavan at about three million barrels, Siri at about four million barrels and Behregan at over three billion barrels.
The statement added that the NIOC had completed studies over the project to collect associate gas in Sirri region and that the contractor of the project had also been chosen.
