The world's strongest man, Hossein Rezazadeh,
and SAIPA of Iran won the gold medals of the 4th Asian Club
Weightlifting Championships in Shenyang, east of China, Saturday,
IRNA reported from Tehran.
Holding the world's +105 kg record with a total weight of 472.5
kg, Rezazadeh found 230 kg enough to win the Asian gold.
The Iranian Hercules hoisted 180 kg and 230 kg in snatch, and
clean and jerk.
SAIPA grabbed the title for the third time as Kourosh Baqeri and
Mohsen Biranvand, teammates of Rezazadeh, took 94 kg and 105 kg gold
medals.
Iran's Islamic Azad University finished runner-up and a team of
the host country stood third.
