Tehran, Feb 3, IRNA -- Iranian female pilots on Monday staged an air display over Tehran on the occasion of Ten-Day Dawn celebrations to mark the 24th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
According to the Defense Ministry, Head of Iran's Aviation Industries Organization Brigadier General Hossein Alaei said that the Islamic Revolution let Iranian women demonstrate their capabilities in line with Islamic principles.
Some 400 women are now working at Iran's Aviation Industry Organization.
Head of Women Affairs at the defense ministry, Fatemeh Akbari said some 60 female managers are now serving in the ministry.
There are ten female pilots undergoing training at Iran's Armed Forces aviation industries, she said.
