Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA -- Iran's Majlis on Wednesday allotted a credit of dlrs 1.5 million out of the next year's (starting March 21) budget bill for campaign against US plots, a figure showing no change compared to the cash drawn from the budgets in the past two years.
Majlis in its open session said the sum would be spent on lodging complaints against the US with international tribunals and making public opinion both inside and outside the country informed of the US cultural onslaught and its breach of the UN resolutions and Algiers accord.
Majlis had in its open sessions in the years 1379 and 1380 allocated dlrs 1.5 million out of the budget laws for this purpose.
MPs also authorized allocation of dlrs 2.5 million out of next year's budget to the International Center for Dialogue among Civilizations.
All the revenues gained from the campaign against illicit drugs would be put at the disposal of related organizations to spend on drug prevention projects.
