Rezazadeh voted Iran's `Champion of Champions' in 2002

Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA -- Hossein Rezazadeh, the strongest man of world, was voted as `Champion of Champions' of Iran in the year 2002.

Association of Sports Writers, Reporters, and Photographers released the names of the best sportsmen of the country in 2002.

To name the top athletes, the association gathered the votes of 350 sports writers of 32 sports periodicals.

According to it, the best sportsmen are as follows:

Champion of Champions: Hossein Rezazadeh (weightlifter)

Top Sportsmen:

1- Hossein Rezazadeh (weightlifter)

2- Hadi Saei (taekwondo player)

3- Mehdi Hajizadeh (freestyle wrestler)

4- Hassan Rangraz (Greco-Roman wrestler)

5- Alireza Dabir (freestyle wrestler)

6- Moharram Navidkia (footballer)

7- Mehdi Haji Akhoundzadeh (judoist)

8- Behnam Mahmoudi (volleyballer)

9- Hossein Ojaqi (wushu player)

10- Vahid Shamsaei (futsal player)

Top Sportswomen:

1- Parvaneh Taqipour-Tehrani (taekwondo player)

2- Atefeh Karimi (table tennis player)

3- Atoussa Hejazi (futsal player)

4- Mitra Hejazipour (chess player)

5- Shadi Paridar (chess player)

Top Coaches:

1- Farhad Kazemi (football)

2- Mostafa Karkhaneh (volleyball)
