Kashan, Feb 19, IRNA -- MP from Kashan and Aran-Bidgol Hassan Tofiqi declared here on Wednesday that rls one trillion is allocated to the development of Information Technology (IT) in the budget of the new Iranian year (starting March 21).
Visiting the scientific and research exhibition of the educational centers in Aran-Bidgol, Tofiqi added that in the new year, the state organizations and institutes will be allowed to spend a maximum of one percent of their budget on the development of IT.
He added that the new year's credits allocated to IT stand at rls 200 million.
Tofiqi noted that in the coming year all high schools and universities are to be provided with access to internet.
The MP added that to gain such a budget, the experts are required to submit their proposed IT projects.
Referring to adding a new field of study at the Scientific and Professional University, he said, "If the syllabus of the scientific and professional institutes are planned on the basis of educational requirements, they will be efficient in solving the national and provincial problems."
He insisted on developing a new outlook by the owners of industrial, service and touristic centers and said that they should change their approach towards investment in the education sector as a requirement.
Tofiqi added that the capital turnover in IT sector is quite effective in the quality and efficiency of the industries.
"Given that Kashan and Aran-Bidgol are industrial cities, the existence of scientific and professional training centers can play a decisive role to improve the industrial units in the area," he concluded.
