Tehran, Feb 25, IRNA - All-star karate (wado ryu) team of Iran grabbed the top title of the 5th England international event on Sunday night.
Representing Iran, Payam Club bagged five gold, three silver, and three bronze medals, lifting the British trophy.
`England A' finished runner-up and the third title went to Belgium and `England B' jointly.
In -60 kg category, Youssef Ataei of Iran stole the show as he snatched the glittering gold.
Farhad Mohammad Alikhani brought the coveted gold of -65 kg class for Iran and his teammates Seyed Mojtaba Mousavi, Mahdi Moradi, and Ataollah Ahmadi added three other golds to the country's asset by standing first in -75 kg, +80 kg, and open competitions.
