Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA -- Managing Director of Export Development Bank of Iran (EDBI) and Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) Noruz Kahzadi said here on Monday that Swedish Exportkreditnamnden (EKN) insurance company had lowered the rate of risk for short-term investment in Iran to three from four.
Kahzadi said that a gradual decline in the rate of risk for investment in Iran on the international insurance market manifests rise in Iran's credibility.
He said this means falling risk of payment by Iran in the short run and the decrease in the premium obtained from Swedish exporters, whose goods are destined to the country.
He added that following one percent lowering in the rate of risk of investment in Iran by EKN, Belgium has recently adjusted the risk rate of investment in Iran to three from four.
Belgian OND insurance company had studied the risks of government measures, war and de-ownership, lowering the rate of the risk of investment in Iran after improving grade of the political risk of foreign direct investment in Iran.
He said that falling rate of risk would prompt further foreign investment in Iran.
