"It is fundamentally important that universities have a full autonomy and academic freedom that allows them to play a leading role in the move towards a more democratic society and the respect of fundamental rights" insists likewise Nicolas Brisson, President of la FEUQ.

The Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) represents 475,000 students across Canada and la Fédération étudiante universitaire du Québec (FEUQ) brings together 19 university student associations representing 145,000 students throughout Québec.
