The Iranian Chemists˘ Association of the American Chemical Society (ICA-ACS) was founded in 1989 at the ACS Biannual Meeting in Boston by a group of visionary chemists who recognized the merit for an association that would promote the unique professional aspirations of the American Chemists of Iranian heritage in the US.
It is in that spirit that we take pleasure in inviting you to the upcoming ICA-ACS meeting, which will take place in New York at the New Yorker Hotel at 5:00 pm on Tuesday September 9, 2003 in conjunction with the biannual ACS National Meeting. This meeting will serve as a conduit for interchanging scientific knowledge, and professional and entrepreneurial know-how, while fascinating life-long friendship among chemists and chemistry-related professionals of Iranian descent.
Through your enthusiastic commitment and participation at this meeting, the success of this noble Association will be further enhanced. The keynote speaker at this meeting is Dr. Ramin Najafi who has successfully launched two diverse corporations in the chemical sciences. The Meeting will be followed by a dinner at one of the Persian Restaurant, most likely Ravagh in Manhattan.
