Talking to IRNA, Nasser Mirzaei added the foreign players are from France, Germany, England, Hungary, Russia, India, Malaysia, Kuwait, the United States, Italy, Greece, and Armenia.
He said the federation is making arrangements for issuing the visas for the foreign-based players.
Tehran is to host the international tennis tournament from August 2-15.
Mirzaei said four Iranian players -- due to home advantage -- and 22 foreign players have the chance to be put in the main table.
The 22 foreign players need to have (international) `ranking' card, added the manager.
Citroen and SAIPA, the two giant automakers in Iran, are the sponsors, said Mirzaei adding that two-thirds of the 30,000-dollar prize is borne by Citroen and one-third by SAIPA.
