The head of the Center for Promotion of the Persian Language and Literature at the Islamic Culture and Communications Organization, Abdullah Nik-khah, said in Mashhad, Khorasan Province on Thursday that a website to teach and promote the Persian Language will be opened in the near future, IRNA reported.

Speaking to IRNA, he said the site will be designed not only to teach but also to disseminate information on Persian language and culture.

To maintain the website, he said his office will need a budget of rls 700 million.

The new on-line service, he hoped, will enable many Persian language and culture enthusiasts all over the world to save on expense for language learning.
