All women taekwondo players of Iran stood on
podiums in an international tournament in Austria, IRNA reported from Vienna, Austria.
the four-member women's team of the country competed with 16
participating teams from different states in the Austrian city Lizen,
Graz.
On June 1, Afsaneh Sheikhi took a silver medal in the fourth
weight.
The four Iranian representatives had bagged three medals on the
first day.
In the first weight, Nazila Nazemi of Iran snatched the coveted
gold and her teammates Reyhaneh Zeinolabedini and Mahrouz Saei took a
silver and a bronze in the fourth and fifth weights respectively.
Seventeen teams comprising 420 players have participated in the
meet.
The three teams of Iran consist of 36 taekwondo players.
