The seismological base of Fars, affiliated to Tehran University's Geophysics Institute, recorded both tremors at 01:07 and 06:38 local time Tuesday (20.37 and 2.08 GMT respectively).
The epicenters of the tremors were registered in an area 50 kilometers from northwestern Shiraz.
No report of any casualty or property damage has been received so far.
Iran is situated on some of the world's seismic faultlines and quakes of different magnitudes are usual.
Since 1991, over 950 earthquakes have hit the country killing 17,600 people and injuring 53,300 others.
