An Iranian team comprising 10 national
mountaineers left Tehran for Pakistan on Wednesday to conquer the
8,046-meter-high peak of Gusherbrum in the Himalayas, Jammu and
Kashmir, IRNA reported.
It takes the team 45 days to reach the summit.
Headed by Aflaki, the Iranian mountaineers are Sajjadian, Uraz,
Honar-Pajouh, Azimi, Khadem, Azizi, Moqaddam, Qeychi-Saz, Jodaeian,
and Bahadorani.
Goudarzi is also accompanying the team as the physician.
