Iran is to send five teams to Italy to
participate in the international "RoboCup-2003" soccer competition
which opens on Tuesday in the northern city of Padova, IRNA reported from Rome.
The Iranian robocup teams are from Tehran's Shahid Beheshti
University, Mashhad's Ferdowsi University, Hamedan's Bu-Ali Sina,
Isfahan's Sana'ati and Qazvin's Azad Universities.
The 10-day event will formally open on Tuesday with an inaugural
ceremony participated in by 200 teams from 30 countries, including the
small, medium-size and simulation leagues of Italy.
