The province is marked by its wonderful nature including
far-flung mountains, glorious valleys, green plains and lime caves,
which manifest a world of beauties.

original natural phenomena in the province.
The cave, the most significant one ever identified in Chahar-Mahal
and Bakhtiari province, annually hosts thousands of New Year's holiday
makers.
It is located 56 kms from the provincial capital city of Shahr-e
Kord.
The most important provincial historical bridges include
Zaman-Khan and Houreh.
Several ancient castles and an archaic bathhouse in Shahr-e Kord
as well as Mosalla bridge and Mamoureh church in the city of Borujen
are among the monuments appealing to the visitors touring the
province.
Moreover, the New Year's holiday makers are drawn to a number of
provincial Imamzadehs (mausoleums of Imams) to pray to God and make
their wishes.
According to the Head of Chahar-Mahal and Bakhtiari province
Travel and Tourism Department Mokhtar Baqeri, this year all the
required facilities have been provided for the holiday makers.
"The province, with a population of 840,000 and consisting of
