Iran's Foreign minister Kamal Kharrazi on Monday condemned activities of terrorist groups in Iraq, IRNA reported from Tehran.
Talking to IRNA after returning home from Damascus meeting, he stressed that Iraq's neighbors agreed that insecurity and terrorist activities in Iraq would harm their interests.
Kharrazi quoted the foreign ministers of Iraq's neighbors as saying that they would prevent terrorism-related groups to cross their respective territories into Iraq.
The foreign minister pointed to the necessity of preventing terrorist actions in Iraq against its neighbors as one of the articles adopted by the Damascus meeting, adding that terrorist groups in Iraq jeopardize neighbors' security.
