Presidential Advisor and Head of Iran's High Council on Free Trade Zones Hossein Nassiri said in Paris on Wednesday that Iran is ready to attract foreign investments, IRNA reported.
Addressing a gathering of representatives from French companies, economic institutes and banks, Nassiri said that the country enjoys required facilities to attract foreign investments.
He pointed to development of the country's special zones, and predicted that the number of such zones will reach rise from 18 to 28 in the next two years.
According to the official, three new trade zones including Alvand in south Iran, Arasbaran in northwest Iran bordering Azerbaijan and Armenia as well as Anzali in north Iran will be established.
He also stressed Iran's complete readiness for cooperation with France in all fields including joint investment, banking and academic affairs.
The Iranian delegation's visit aims at meeting French officials and inspecting trade and economic centers in France.
