Nobel Peace Prize winner and human rights activist Shirin Ebadi returned to Tehran late Tuesday, IRNA reported.
Government spokesman Abdollah Ramezanzadeh, Head of the Management and Planning Organization Mohammad Sattarifar as well as several Majlis representatives and large number of well-wishers were present at the airport to greet Ebadi on her arrival.
Speaking to reporters about her feelings on receiving the Nobel Peace Prize, she said "I feel like a new born baby who steps into the world and as a drop falls into the sea."
She stated, "I hope the prize will convey the message of peace of all Iranian to the world and I hope the prize will be considered as a message of peace, friendship and love of the Iranian people to the world."
Iranian people are peace-lovers, she underlined.
