Iran's Minister of Post, Telephone and
Telegraph Ahmad Motamedi is to be impeached on Tuesday November 4,
IRNA reported from Tehran on Friday.
MP from Tehran in the parliament Ali Akbar Mousavi Khoeini told
IRNA that efforts are under way to prevent the impeachment of the
minister but the minister would most likely be impeached as the MPs
are firm on their decision to impeach him.
He said the majority of the MPs have so far favored the
impeachment motion on the minister.
The deputy minister of Post, Telephone and Telegraph for
Parliamentary affairs Masoud Moqaddas said the minister would present
his explanations on his ministry's activities in two hours.
The minister is to be impeached for his ministry's alledgedly low
performance.
