Tehran, April 12, IRNA -- An earthquake measuring 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale hit the city of Borazjan and its suburbs in southern province of Bushehr.
The quake occurred at 13:36 hours local time on Monday, Tehran University Geophysics Institute's Seismological Center announced.
No report is yet available on likely damage to life or property. Iran is situated on some of the world's most active seismic fault lines and quakes of varying magnitudes are of usual occurrence.
