Tehran, April 13, IRNA -- The first Iran-Germany Nano-Technology
Conference will be held at the University of Science and Technology
on May 2-3.
Secretary of the conference Ali Beitollahi addressing reporters
on Tuesday said that the upcoming event aims to promote research on
nano-technology and exchange the latest scientific developments.
He referred to 'New Horizons in Nano-Technology', 'Nano
Calculation', 'High Temperature Ceramic Structure Nano Material',
'Synthesis of Particles Nano', 'Structure Nano Membranes' and
'Moving Behavior of Structure Nano' as the focal points to be on the
conference agenda.
"On the sidelines of the conference, a fair on nano measuring
devices and equipment will be held, where nationwide universities and
institutes of higher education will display their scientific and
practical achievements," he added.
Turning to a round table discussion on 'Iran-Germany Nano
Program' due to be held during the conference, he noted that Iran's
and Germany's nano plans as well as expansion of scientific
collaboration between the two countries will be discussed during the
meeting.
Iran-Germany Nano-Technology Conference has been mainly organized
by the University of Science and Technology's Faculty of Materials
and Metallurgy.
