Tehran, April 14, IRNA -- Director General for African Continent at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Javid Qorban Oqli said here Wednesday that the ministry is now preparing grounds for active presence of Iran Khodro Industrial Group in the African market.
Speaking while inspecting various parts of Iran Khodro factory, he said African countries seek joint investment on products of Iran Khodro company.
High quality, competitive price as well as suitable after sales services are key factors in penetrating into the world markets, he said adding that the company has made effective strides in this respect.
Iran's industrial potentials are unknown to African countries, he said adding that Iranian embassies abroad are doing their best to find new markets for Iranian non-oil products.
Iranian Foreign Ministry is to create grounds for investment in the country through trust-building policy in the African countries, he said adding that the managers of auto industry in the Islamic Republic of Iran should target African markets.
Absence of membership in regional pacts, taxation as well as customs' red tapes are considered as impediments preventing the expansion of auto industry in abroad, he said adding that the country's official should pay due attention to the issue in a bid to prepare grounds for active presence of Iranian auto makers in global markets.
Since the auto-making industry is not developed in African countries, Iran Khodro can easily capture the African markets with its various products.
