Tehran, April 24, IRNA -- An international gas conference titled
"Opportunities for International Cooperation" is due to open in Tehran on
Sunday.
According to the secretariat of the conference, 60 foreign
companies from 22 countries as well as 92 representatives from 48
domestic companies will be attending the conference.
Conference participants will be introduced to the production and
export potentials of Iran's gas industry as well as its potential for
export to Europe.
Other main topics to be discussed in the conference are the
possibilities for regional cooperation, the potential for export of
gas pipeline projects and cooperation with East Asia and the Indian
subcontinent.
