Bandarabbas, Hormuzgan Prov, March 25, IRNA -- A 4.4-Richter quake
shook the northern part of Bandarabbas, a city in southern province
of Hormuzgan on Wednesday night.
A seismological base, affiliated to Tehran University's
Geophysics Institute, said on Wednesday that the quake had hit the
area at 22:43 hours local time (19:13 GMT) on Wednesday.
No report is yet available on likely toll or damage caused by
the incident.
