Unidentified objects with blinking lights were also reported Tuesday in the skies over several other Iranian cities, including the south-central city of Kashan.
Wednesday, state television showed a shiny white disc it said was filmed over Tehran Tuesday night. Other UFO's have been spotted recently in the northern skies over Tabriz and Ardebil.
An Air Force officer quoted in one Tehran publication is calling on Iran's Supreme National Security Council to determine whether Iran is being visited by aliens. He said the council should determine whether the visitors have good or bad intentions.
