Iran-US trade volume dips to 120 million dollars

Tehran, Aug 15, IRNA -- Trade exchanges between Iran and the US stood at dlr 120 million during the first half of 2004, the English-language 'Tehran Times` wrote on Sunday.

Bilateral trade exchanges during the above-stated period fell 14 percent compared to the volume last year.

The US exported dlr 45 million worth of products to Iran during the period which shows a dlr 13 million fall in comparison with the figure in the corresponding period last year.

The Iran-US trade balance stood at over dlr 30 million in favor of Iran during the first half of 2004.

The volume of bilateral trade was highest in January 2004 at dlr 22.6 million while April marked the lowest in total trade volume between the two countries.
