Kharrazi told reporters during a visit to a power company that Iran has been seriously following up the case of its nationals arrested in Iraq.
He also said that a delegation has been sent to Iraq to discuss the issue with Iraqi officials.
The Iraqi police on August 9 arrested IRNA's Baghdad bureau chief Mostafa Darban and two Iraqi staffers and have been purportedly keeping them in the custody of Iraq's Interior Ministry.
Also, US troops on July 18 arrested four Iranian directors visiting the country for business talks and later handed them over to the Iraqi police.
Furthermore, Iran's consul in Iraq, Fereydoun Jahani, was kidnapped on the road between Baghdad and Karbala on August 4.
Kharrazi said it is not yet known which group is holding Jahani and stressed skepticism over who was really behind the issue.
