Speaking at a gathering of the former members of the terrorist MKO called 'The Salvation Society', Taheri said that the government supports the activities of families of the former members of the terrorist group being made in the context of 'The Salvation Society'.
The families of the former members of the terrorist MKO have set up an association to secure an amnesty from the government for the repentant members of the terrorist MKO.
The terrorist MKO had gathered several thousand deceived people at Ashraf camp in Iraq under protection of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.
Aiding the Iraqi army, the MKO served Saddam to kill Iraqi anti-dictatorship movement both from Shia community in southern Iraq and the Iraqi Kurdish province in 1990s.
Secretary of the World Federation of Trade Unions Alexander Zharikov and Representative of the World Federation of Trade Unions in Asia Adib Miro and the families of the former members of the MKO were present in the meeting in Isfahan.
Zharikov criticized the world powers for inciting the MKO to carry out sabotage against their own country.
"I have come to Iran on behalf of the World Federation of Trade Unions to help the families of 'The Salvation Society' to reach their goal. I express solidarity with them. We should live together in peace," Zharikov said.
Miro said, "It is a tragedy that your children had been involved in terrorist attacks against their own fellow citizens.
"What the members of 'The Salvation Society' have suffered is the terrorist operations against your own nation. Your government has granted amnesty for you to come back to your own country," Miro said.
