Ahvaz, Khuzestan Prov, Dec 29, IRNA -- National Iranian Drilling
Company has drilled up to 22,357 meters of oil and gas wells in Azar,
the 9th month in Iranian calendar.
Public Relations Department at National Iranian Drilling Company
(NIDC) quoted Managing Director of the Company Seyfollah Jashnsaz as
saying that the operations had been conducted on 19 wells.
Jashnsaz said his Company had managed to drill 235,166 meters of
wells in Marun, Lab Sefid, Gachsaran, Varavi and Kupal until the
month of Azar, 19 days ahead of schedule.
The official said that NIDC's 17 drilling machines had been
involved in international projects last month.
He said 11 such machines operate in regions of Azar, Darkhoein,
Shakestan, Dorud, Sarkan and South Pars under supervision of four
foreign and one Iranian companies.
He added that six rigs are also used for international drilling
projects in Sartal, Mansourieh, Varavi, Homa and Sarache Qom regions
under supervision of the Central Oil Recovery Management Company.
