Rome, Dec 31, IRNA -- Iran-Italy trade exchange volume still continues
its rising trend and the latest figures show in the first nine months
of the year it reached a level above 2 billion and 985 million euros.
In comparison, the figure is 224 million euros more than the
corresponding level in same period last year.
In first three quarters of the year, Iran's export were more than
one billion and 503 million euros and imports from Italy had reached
one billion and 482 million euros.
Oil, fruit and dry fruit, leather and animal skin, mineral raw
materials, petrochemical products, carpet, metals and sea materials
are the main items of Iran's export to Italy.
Machineries and industrial facilities, textiles and leather,
steel, ceramics and stones are among Italy's exports to Iran.
The figures show Italy is still the first trade partner of Iran
among European Union countries.
