According to a hospital spokesperson in Dubai on Wednesday the only Iranian survivor of the Tuesday crash of a Kish Airline plane, Navid Khodabakhsh is in good condition, IRNA reported.
The spokesperson who did not wish to reveal his identity, added that three of the 46 passengers of the crashed Fokker-50 plane of Iranian, Filipino and Egyptian nationalities were wounded and the emaining ones passed away.
"Among the three wounded passengers who were taken to Sharjah Al-Qasemi hospital Khodabakhsh is the one in best condition," added the spokesperson.
According to the spokesperson, Khodabaksh's head injury has was cured, and he was taken for surgery of his broken foot after which he will be transferred to the general ward for further medical care.
The two other victims are reported to be in critical condition and the physicians are doing their best to treat them.
Twelve passengers of the Kish Airlines plane which crashed two miles from Sharjah airport on Tuesday morning, were Iranians.
According to Sharjah airport and aviation authorities, out of the 40 passengers 12 were Indians, two Algerians, four Syrians, two Filipinos, one was UAE citizen, one Nigerian, one Bangladeshi, one Sudanese, one Cameroonese, one Nepalese and an unidentified child.
The Fokker-50 plane, en route from Iran's southern Kish Island in the Persian Gulf to Sharjah on the A.R.K. 7170 flight, crashed while landing at Sharjah airport.
