The Iranian government spokesman, Abdollah Ramezanzadeh, has been summoned to court on charge of inciting the public opinion, he told IRNA in Tehran on Sunday.

Ramezanzadeh said he had received a petition, demanding he attend the public court on Friday.

The reason for the summon is the publication of his statements in the Persian daily 'Iran', which the court deems amounts to instigating the public opinion, he said.
