A day-timer calendar (for Iranian year 1383) titled "Women and Culture" has been published in Iran. This calendar, which is dedicated to the Iranian women, includes 27 pictures of many well-known Iranian women. The pictures are taken by the talented Iranian photographer Maryam Zandi.

Here you see the front cover and two of the inside pictures, Shirin Ebbadi (winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 2003) and Simin Behbahani (poet).

Some of the other women whose pictures appear in the calendar are Lila Hatami, Rakhshan Bani-Etemad, Iran Daroudi, Golestan, Lashahi, Lili Afshar, Goli Taraghi, Simin Daneshvar, Hedieh Tehrani, and Pari Zangeneh, all famous women in art and related fields in Iran.

The calendar comes in small desk or large pocket versions and is available in major bookstores in Iran.
