The Guardians Council (GC) has approved
qualifications of only 3 of the members of parliament whose
qualifications had been rejected by the supervisory boards in the
previous stage, IRNA reported from Tehran.
According to the Saturday's issue of Persian daily 'Sharq', the
three MPs are Abolfazal Shakouri from Zanjan, Nasser Khaleqi from
Isfahan and Abdolzahra Alemi from Dasht-e Azadegan constituencies.
The disqualification of other outstanding political figures
who are not Majlis deputies is still valid as before, the daily
added.
Over 80 members of the present parliament in Iran were announced
as disqualified by the GC.
