Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 11th G15 conference of the Federation of Chamber of Commerce for Industries and Services (FCCIS), Khamoushi said the US vetoes Iran's WTO entry for certain legal problems it has with the Islamic states.
Khamoushi said the WTO turned down Iran's bid for 17 times due to the US opposition.
He proposed that the government assign Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) with the task of following up the entry issue.
He judged that given its private status, the ICCIM can overcome global barriers and facilitate and arrange necessary accession discussions with related global experts.
Since it is politicized, government's efforts in that connection would not be effective.
