Melissa Fleming expressed hope that some ambiguities over the nature of Iran's nuclear program will be clarified in the IAEA`s new report.
She declined to comment on some western media reports alleging that Iran has resumed manufacture of centrifuges.
The IAEA spokeswoman insisted "we will always remain neutral."
Meanwhile, a Vienna-based western diplomat, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed that Iran has resuming manufacture of centrifuges and that it has already notified this to the agency.
Some western media on Tuesday referring to Iran's resumption of centrifuge production accused the country of attempting to build nuclear weapons. Iran has always denies such accusations and repeatedly confirmed that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
The next meeting of the IAEA's Board of Governors, aimed at discussing Iran's nuclear program, will be held on September 13 in Vienna.
