"The government has forwarded a draft bill to the Judiciary guaranteeing civil rights of every individual. The Judiciary board approved it to be sent to parliament for debate and take effect after being passed," Elham said.
Asked to elaborate on the draft, he said that according to the draft, every individual can take legal action with the Judiciary against government institutes and demand compensation if he or she proved claims of any damage.
Elham said that the Judiciary will take part in the fourth round of talks with the European Union (EU) on 'international cooperation about human rights and administering justice'.
Asked about the Canadian court's ruling according to which murderer of Iranian national Keyvan Tabesh living in Canada was acquitted of the charge, Elham said that Iranian Foreign Ministry should follow up the case and that the Judiciary will cooperate with the Foreign Ministry in this respect.
