Tehran, June 24, IRNA -- Iran's Information Ministry on Thursday rejected
recent claims by Tehran's prosecutor general that investigation by
by a three-member board into the case of late photojournalist Zahra
Kazemi is over.
"Regarding recent interview of the prosecutor of Tehran's Public
and Revolutionary Court on Zahra Kazemi's case, it should be noted
that his statement on the outcome of probe by the three-member board
are not true," said the ministry.
Prosecutor of Tehran's Public and Revolutionary Court
Saeed Mortazavi in a press conference on Monday quoted a source as
saying that the board had apparently confirmed the investigation
and the proceeding course of the prosecutor's office.
