Kabul, June 28, IRNA -- Bank Melli and Bank Saderat are to jointly
establish a new Bank named "Aryan" in Kabul, it was announced here
Monday.
The new Bank will be established according to the laws and
regulations of Afghanistan.
Deputy Governor of Afghanistan's Central Bank Abdul Qadir Fetrat
welcomed the idea of establishing the new Bank in his country.
Speaking to IRNA, he said the new Bank would guarantee
the interests of businessmen.
This is the first ever Iranian Bank to start operation in
Afghanistan.
Banks from Britain, Pakistan and the Netherlands have already
opened branches in Afghanistan.
