In the spirit of unity, UC Berkeley ISAA,
along with UCLA's Iranian Student Group and Northeastern's Persian Club, has
taken the initiative to organize a Multi-campus Iranian Awareness Week. Since
many schools operate under different systems, quarter and semester, and have
spring breaks at different times, the actual date of the awareness week various
with the participating universities.

Farsi" Firoozeh Dumas (Books available for purchase)
b. Saturday, March
6, 2004 @ 2:00pm (Location: 123 Wheeler) Persian Women's Folk Dance Workshop
with Soraya Gheissari. Come and learn or practice Persian woman's dance touching
on themes of Bandari, Azari, and Kurdish dance rhythms. Although it is not
required of you to RSVP, it would good to do so that Soraya's knows how many to

c. Thursday, March 4, 2004 @ 7:00pm (Location: Persian
Center) ISAA/SIEB/Persian Center "Iranian Language Night!" A social
intended on created a atmosphere where Iranians can get together and socialize
in their native Iranian languages. Come and learn about all the languages and
dialects spoken in Iran and also hear examples and you can even practice some of
them with an expert!
