Baghdad, March 25, IRNA -- Head of Iran's Islamic Culture and
Communications Organization Mahmoud Mohammadi Araqi said here on
Thursday that Iran is ready to set up a cultural and arts center in
Baghdad.
Araqi and head of the Supreme Assembly of Islamic Revolution in
Iraq Abdulaziz Hakim also reached agreement on better welfare and
ccommodation services for Iranian pilgrims visiting Iraq, expansion
of bilateral cultural and scientific ties between Iranian and Iraqi
academic institutions and exchange of delegations of artists for
further cooperation in related fields.
Hakim is to inform other Iraqi Governing Council members on
Iran's call for better welfare and accommodation services for Iranian
pilgrims in Iraq.
