Tehran, Nov 3, IRNA -- The first national festival and scientific
seminar to study Iran's potato problems will be held in December in
Ardebil.
The aim of the festival is to obtain latest scientific and
technical achievements and to choose the best producers of potato both
on quality and quantity. The event will be held in three sections of
seminar, festival and exhibition.
Producing potato seeds with biotechnology method, water
management, soil and potato nourishing, the role of propagation and
training in increasing potato production, the role and importance of
pests control, diseases and weeds, potato production economy,
marketing and sales, and warehouse management are the main subjects of
the seminar.
