Abadan, Nov 18, IRNA -- A local music group from Abadan called
'Black Pearl' left for the French capital of Paris on Wednesday to
attend an international music festival.
Head of the Public Relations Department of Abadan Culture and
Islamic Guidance Department Qassem Alizadeh told IRNA that the group
mainly playing percussion instruments is scheduled to participate in
the international music festival in Paris.
"Black Pearl is specialized in playing Bandari music. Besides
attending the festival, it will perform concerts in France and
Senegal for one month," he added.
He noted that the group has been invited by the Islamic Culture
and Communication Organization to attend the French music festival.
"This is the first time the Black Pearl attends an international
music festival," he concluded.
